100 Percent Stone Ground Whole Wheat Bread

1970s Recipe
I added 1 tbs of vital wheat gluten to the recipe
I used fresh ground whole wheat

Coffee Cake 1911

Rich Coffee Cake
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 1/4 cup flour
1/3 cup milk
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
2 egg yolks well beaten
whites folded in last
cream butter, sugar and yolks then add flour and milk, fold in the whites last
place into a greased pan,
cream 2 tbs sugar, 1 tbs butter, 1 tbs flour, 1/2 cup of milk and 2 tsp cinnamon
pour over the top of cake.
I baked at 375 until done.
